Blocks Don't Update on Old Worlds While Using Controllers

Worlds created on 1.2 or lower versions of MC do not update blocks when a Bluetooth game controller is used. Breaking or placing blocks does not show what was either broken or placed. If the world is opened using touch controls and touch controls are used, blocks update just fine. However, blocks will not update when switching from the controller to touch.
