Fire Textures Appears as black rectangles on Android device

Fire textures appear black on my arnova 9G3

Fire textures (animals burning etc) appear as black rectangles rather than the flames appearing

My brother's Cyclone astro+ tablet has the same issue on mcpe 0.7.0
