Chunks missing from world after uninstalling then reinstalling

I did not have access to realms recently but when I uninstalled and reinstalled it appeared again. However, a new issue arose when i loaded my non realm save. I fell through the floor upon loading and died, but when i respawned chunks of the map were missing including everything I have built.
