When Player 2 joins on Xbox One, Player 1 gets error

When Player 2 joins a local Xbox One world that Player 1 is on, Player 1 gets an error that says: ‘You’re not invited to join this server.’ and on Player 2’s screen, it gets stuck on ‘Building Terrain’.
I am in the beta, 1.2.1403.70
