Drowned can't swim in wells (experimental gameplay)

I have found an issue with the drowned. When they spawn in a well, they cannot swim upwards at all. They just spin around at the bottom of the well. I can safely stay just above them while I attack and they can't fight back. I have recreated the issue in creative mode for you to see.
