Duplicate any item with mending

Forgive me if this has already been reported.

There exists a glitch that piggybacks off another glitch. Frequently, when exp is gathered and you are holding an item with the Mending enchant, the exp will get "stuck", causing your item to bob up and down (or in some cases, stay off the screen entirely). If you press the button to drop an item while the mending item is doing this, it will drop the item on the ground but not remove it from your inventory, causing it to duplicate. You can do this as many times as you want while the item is bobbing or stuck, single-handedly crashing the economy of a server.
