[Fixed in 1.7.0] Items cannot be dropped on top of slabs

What's Happening:
As shown below, it is nearly impossible to place items on slabs and make the stay. They are pushed towards the nearest edge.

What's Expected:
I expected items to tay on top of slabs, just like they do on full blocks.

How to reproduce:
Place a slab and drop an items on it. It should be moved to the side and fall from the slab.
