Minecraft chat periodically stops working this is messed up please fix this!!!

This just started happening around the time of this new aquatics release but happens weather I use the aquatics or not,minecraft text Chat periodically stops working this is VERY VERY ANNOYING PLEASE FIX THIS!! thanks.
