Land stopped on infinitive flat world

I have been using the Minecraft Pocket edition for the last couple of years and had no real big issues however with this last update the world that I use/create which was set up years ago as a infinite world and the world has now stopped creating more land. This is obviously not what I wanted to happen as it was ament to be a infinite world?
