can't put fuel in furnaces

What I expected was...
To smelt my iron
What actually happened was...:
I could not Put Coal in the furnace and I couldn't take the iron ore out

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open furnace
2. Put in desired item
3. Put in fuel
