Corrupted Chunks

My xbox got the auto update of the aquatic beta without realizing so played my survival world happy as Larry. The next day I got the pop up that suggested reinstalling Minecraft so I did , I then re entered my world and immediatly died. After respawning I noticed I had tons and tons of corrupted Chunks one even went right through the village I had spent a good few days remodeling ... Is there anyway I could get my much loved world back ... I don't even care about the items I lost as long as I could get my hard earned buildings back.
