Ocean Monuments not generating

When playing the world "Ocean Monument Ahead" in the newest beta, I noticed that the terrain is exactly the same (with an exception of new features like reefs, shipwrecks, and ravines), but every last Ocean Monument I'd discovered using the same seed in the previous version of the beta were gone. Is this a bug in the world generation? Is it possible to fix it?
