Returned to main menu screen with background only after refused connection to Official Community Realm

After using the Official Community Realms link and being declined connection the server, due to it being full, I click on 'OK' and am brought back to the main menu screen, but only the background shows without the menu.
(My client version number only shows 1.2.13 as the '.54' is absent from display.)
