Equipped armor flashes red when its wearer takes damage

Expected behavior: Equipped armor does not flash red when taking damage (see MC-77302).

Observed behavior: Equipped armor flashes red when taking damage. This affects both players and mobs.

This does not affect items held in the hand, unless they are enchanted (see MCPE-31934).
