Cauldrons water glitch

I was in the beta and I got a cauldrons and a water bucket but the water disappeared when I tried to get the water in the cauldrons I understand that you have seen this issue before but cauldrons that had water know don't have water in them any more even in a new world it doesn't work and rain doesn't fill either
