Slime Spawn rate/ slimes barely spawn

Dear Mojang,

I noticed that slimes barely spawn in my survival realm.
I had the same issue in my offlline superflat creative world.
No matter what i do for example: change my game mode to hard. there aren't spawning a lot of slimes.
Please do something about this.
