World crash in 1.2.12.13 beta

Whenever I try to load up a world I created before the beta it crashes. I saved in the Nether but when I try to go through the portal it freezes, flickers, then crashes. I've tried loading it with and without experimental gameplay and I've tried using different portals but nothing works.
