Cursor misplaced

I have noticed in the beta that the cursor is doing what it seems to do every other update; after exiting chat and adding to text already added or modifying a command,etc, the cursor appears midway through the command or text rather than at the end.

Example: '/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ stained_harden|ed_clay' rather than
'/fill ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ stained_hardened_clay | '
