Item Duplication

I am experiencing item duplication with a few items. Whenever I place down one furnace, dispenser, or dropper, I get two items back when I pick it up. Also, after I place down an ender chest, when I pick it up I receive the ender chest item, but also 8 obsidian blocks as well.
