Black or no fire animation

What I expected to happen was...:

*What actually happened was I used the seed Nyan in survival and in creative, the trees set on fire but the animation was really messed up.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the seed nyan
2. Go to the lava on the hill
3. Wait for the trees to burn
