Can't put a full stack of my items in a chest

On my redmi note 3......
I can't place a whole stack of items in a chest.
When I hold the item down, nothing happens.
When I let go, only 1 item goes into the chest.
Please fix this cuz it get annoying after spamming my thumb on cobble
