Black Screen on Low End Devices

On lower end devices, playing Minecraft for a long period of time will cause the screen to go black. After about 10 seconds, though, the game screen will return, however, Minecraft is likely to crash upon exiting a world. How long it takes to black screen is never consistent, and this bug has been present for the past number of updates.
