[Resolved] When destroying an ender chest with silk touch is STILL drops obsidian and the chest

Ender chests still drop obsidian when mined with a silk touch pick. The pickaxe was a diamond, and the exsparement was don in creative. I first noticed it in my survival world after update 1.2.10, I think.
