Ender chest glitch using a Silk Touch Pickaxe on Ender Chest makes for you to keep getting obsidian plus chest.

I used a Diamond Enchanted Pickaxe (Silk Touch) on a Ender Chest and noticed a bug. Me mining the chest resulted of 8 Obsidian dropping like i broke it but in addition the Ender Chest dropped too. I repeated this and it happened again. It occured to me that i was able to retrieve loads of Obsidian without losing the Ender Chest.
