Xbox Live Achievements not all working

When I complete an achievement (ie: swim in lava with fire resistance potion, power a furnace with bucket of lava, use totem of undying to cheat death), sometimes it doesn't show up as complete. This isn't affecting all achievements, just some (as listed). Is this a minecraft issue, or an xbox live issue? Thanks.
