In Minecraft pe when I try to quick stack an item in to any thing it'll show the green line quick stacking but then it won't put any items into the object that i am quick stacking so I need to tap 64,63,62,etc items into a object instead of quick stacking

In Minecraft pe when I try to quick stack an item in to any thing it'll show the green line quick stacking but then it won't put any items into the object that i am quick stacking so I need to tap 64,63,62,etc items into a object instead of quick stacking.
