my resource packs turn screen upside down

I try a new texture pack and there is an upside down screen waiting for me.
I have tried resetting the app and deleting all my texture packs but all texture packs that change the background turn the screen upside down. when I click on 'play' or 'settings' it gives a blank screen. THIS IS SO ANNOYING
