Double chest OR normal chest doesn't do item depositing by STACK

Normally, if in a chest or double chest, i have been able to deposit items by stack by holding on the item, until the green bar fills completely. now, if i try that, only 2 (mostly 1) item gets in the chest (or double chest).
I am using a Samsung Galaxy A5 (2015) With the latest Android 7.0 Software update on Minecraft BEDROCK version 1.2.9.1
