Breaking farmland sometimes does not break a crop growing on top of it

I was digging up dirt that had fully grown wheat on it when I noticed a seed floating in air. This is very weird. I broke it and it gave me a seed. You can see it in the screenshot I took. It's a small bug, but it should be fixed.
