Sign exit button not visible

When i type on a sign, the x button is not visible. This is ok though because i know where the button should be, so i can still press it. However when I type on the 3rd line of the sign, the button not only is invisible but I cant press it either. I have to turn off my ipad, turn it back on, go into minecraft, and go back into the world. It’s a PAIN! Please fix it! (Only on PE)
