Buttons not reacting properly to getting hit by an Arrow

If you use a bow to target a button, its often that the arrow might hit the button but the button won't activate.

What can cause this issue
Maybe the ticking area is the issue?

Go to Minecraft
Put a tnt about 10-30 blocks away
Hit it with a bow's arrow
Observe
