Minecraft PE crashes on startup (Windows 10 Mobile)

I downloaded Minecraft Pocket Edition through the Windows 10 Mobile Microsoft Store on my Microsoft Lumia 640 XL. Every time I try to launch the game, the game crashes on startup (Mojang Logo).

I am unsure if it is running version 1.2.8.0 because I can't launch the game, but this is the version listed in the Microsoft Store.
