Worlds still not converting

I've been at this for literally months. The world's over 100MB are not converting still.
i have tried resetting, clearing cache, reinstalling, everything. it gets stuck anywhere from 71% to 98%... it's been months, and it truthfully feels like this is being ignored. please address this, we would all like to be able to play out old world, especially the large ones. and if there's a work around, please let us know! I'd be willing to pull it off the console and convert it by hand if i had to.
