crashes on startup, right after auto signing in to xbox live

Been playing MCPE forever on my iphone. Purchased an xbox live subscription tonight and logged into it on MCPE and now it just crashes immediately after startup. I see my gamertag change from the old one, from before i had xbox live, then it changes to my current tag, and the app shuts down right away.
