Blazes instantly kill player despite armor

Blazes can insta-kill without fire protection effect on player despite armor. (in testing, I wore iron helmet: prot 1, iron chest plate: prot 1, iron leggings: prot 1/unbr 1, normal iron boots) This glitch also flashes absorption hearts before I die. This happened in my favorite world, however I tested this in a new world and learned that it can only happen after a potion—I tested with lengthened bottle of fire resistance without consuming and a bottle of poison 1—exists in the player’s inventory in the nether.
