Unable to connect remotely to an iOS server

My family plays on a variety of devices. If I host a world on the iPad or iPad mini, LAN players can connect but remote user cannot. If I host on the PC, remote and LAN users can connect without issues. Remote connection attempts have been with iPad Mini and Android tablet. Prior to release 1.2.8, all devices were connecting without issues.
