Crafting any Item without any of the required items

Playing in Survival mode, normal difficulty. Opening a Crafting Table menu to create any item for which I don't have all the ingredients or any ingredient. Click on any red marked ingredient then click on any blank spaced square. The ingredient would be moved to the new clicked space and would automatically be added to your current inventory. The square space where the ingredient is, would have changed background color from red to gray. Repeat the procedure for all the other required ingredient and the desired item will be allowed to be crafted. Thus, I'm able to craft any item from nothing.
