Gamer Tag not updating

I recently just changed my gamer tag in the Xbox app from the default one to one I actually like. However, it did not change in Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. Restarting Minecraft did not fix the issue. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft Windows 10 Edition to fix it. That resolved the issue.
