Teleported to world spawn, everything gone?

I just joined my survival world, but instead of finding myself where I saved and disconnected before, I found myself at the world spawn, with nothing in my inventory, no armor, nothing. It’s as if I had died while not playing, but if that were the case, I would’ve respawned at my bed. It was like this: I disconnected, went on a week later, found out everything I had on me was lost, never to be seen again. I even went back to the location where I logged off, but my stuff wasn’t laying there, as I expected.
