Multiplayer chat glitch for Gear VR

Every time I try to open the VR keyboard in multiplayerit dosent do anything. It works in sigleplayer and local multiplayer. This problem was apparently "solved" it's still doing the same thing. I can't join my friend's or chat due to this bug and it's annoying the heck out of me. Can you please try your best to fix it it would be very appreciated.

(BTW I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and I'm playing it on the gear VR)
