Xbox one better together update elytra causes game to crash

Minecraft xbox one Better together update;

I have traveled far into my world walking throughout it and i start heading back to my house,which is like 2000 blocks away from me, so I pull out my elytra which i didnt use to get out there, and i fly into the air with flight duration 1 rockets and about 2 seconds after flight my game crashes and i have done it multiple times and have gotten the same results
