Luring Animals with Food

When I try to breed an animal with another, it is very difficult to keep them following you. Each time you get too close or they jump, they aren't interested in the food for about 10-15 seconds. It's quite annoying having an animal jump a block to get in its pen and for it to not be interested each time it jumps. 😆
