Double block/slab placement and breaking

So, this is my issue, and I've looked it up and have seemed to find nothing regarding bedrock codebase Xbox 1 edition. So, whenever I place a block, or slab or break a block, more than one is placed and/or broken, like in a cluster of 4-6 blocks, as well as the ground usually breaks in clusters of 4-6 blocks as well. I've uninstalled and re-installed the game, tested it with different remotes, and have had no luck. This seemed to have been a very prevalent issue in 1.12 on the PC I believe. I'm really enjoying this new edition, but this bug is really slowing me down. Otherwise, the game is flawless!
