Multiplayer is very laggy

In the multiplayer mode my game is very laggy I cannot move.I have enough ram for this game and my internet is verey fast.This all started after your latest update for minecraft.When I move I am carried forward without me pressing a single key.This has ruined my experience with minecraft.Please fix this.
