Massive frame rate dip at night, when playing split screen, or near my animal farm.

When playing alone as soon as night falls or if I go near my animal pens my frame rate drops to completely unplayable levels. If my wife joins my game via split screen then the frame rate drop happens immediately and when it becomes night it has even crashed the game.
