Android TV Xbox 360 controller axis issues

Google Nexus player and Nvidia Shield Android TV platforms using Xbox 360 wired (Windows wired) and wireless controllers (Microsoft official dongle) have an issue that arises when using the right axis stick to turn right. 75% of the time it sticks and you continue turning in a clockwise rotation.
Tested with two different controllers and two different android TV devices with different O/S versions.
