Ender chest glitch

The new Minecraft BedRock game seemingly has a random glitch related to ender chests. When I use silk touch diamond pick to pick up the ender chest, every time 8 obsidian falls out with the ender chest, so basically its an unlimited way of getting obsidian. It works every time without fail. My world is an old Xbox One Minecraft Edition amplified world that I converted to the new game.
