Minecraft 1.2.5.12 does not open offline!

Help, please fix! I can't play Minecraft if I open it offline! When I mean offline, I mean, without internet... When I play with internet, it works completely fine. But when I play with WiFi closed, it takes FOREVER to open! What I mean is that when you open the game, you get stuck at thr beginning Minecraft screen for a very, very long time... I hope this gets fixed in the next beta build. By the way, I was using a Huawei device on this. Thanks!
