Chat appears as ####

The issue applies to Win10, also tested on multiple Android tablets.

On Realms, the in-game chat displays correctly to the player who sent the message but is displayed to everyone else as a series of ###s.

For example, "I play Minecraft" becomes "################"

It is almost impossible to communicate with my team because of this.
