Glass in water creates a current as if it weren't there.

Glass, in water, creates a current as if it were an air block; I have tried adding and removing blocks and water source block on the currents but they stay.
Ladders and Beacons, Glowstone,Sea Lanterns, Leaves, Ice and TNT also do this.
